Hi everyone,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this. Over the past few weeks, my life has completely changed. I suddenly began losing vision in my left eye, and after being admitted to the hospital, doctors found significant swelling in my left optic nerve. I’ve been receiving steroid injections during my hospital stay and am now on a long taper to try to get the swelling under control and hopefully save what vision I have left.

The medical bills have been overwhelming, and while focusing on recovery, I fell behind on rent. I’m now a month behind and facing possible eviction, which has added even more stress to an already scary situation.

I am back at work now and doing everything I can to get back on track, but the financial setback from the hospital stay has made it extremely difficult to catch up on my own. I’m working hard, staying hopeful, and trying to move forward one step at a time.
