Most of my friends and family do not even know I had major surgery on my cervical spinal cord forcing me to be out of work for 8-12 weeks. I had the surgery on Feb 18th at 5am. I'm home now. Most of you know I do not sit still well, this is forcing me to do so. The pain I feel is insane and I would not wish this on anyone. I'm hopeful when I heal it will have been worth it. With that being said I'm struggling and have to swallow my pride and ask for assistance from y'all. My most sincere apologies as I hate asking for anything. I do not want to lose everything I worked so hard for due to this unfortunate medical situation. I live alone and do not have a second income. I have been denied unemployment, food stamps, Medicaid and other types of assistance because I'm still employed. I am out on FMLA unpaid since I don't have any time built up. Any and everything will be greatly appreciated and very helpful.
