Support Recovery After Heart Attack and PE
Donation protected
On March 27 I suffered an odd medical situation that caused disorientation, dizziness,
and slurred speech. These symptoms lasted about 12 hours and took me to the
hospital. The normal tests (EKG, EEG, CT, & MRI) were performed to rule out stroke and such, and nothing was found. I was sent home and felt like something was still wrong. During the next few days my mental health declined as I felt dismissed at the hospital and that something worse
could be going on.
On Monday March 31 I was taken back to the hospital where it was determined that I
had a PE, pulmonary embolism, that led to a heart attack. I was hospitalized thereafter
to recover and address the mental health decline from being dismissed the week
before.
Along with feeling terrible and being concerned about what was happening, I was out of
work for well over a week & will be out for at least 2 more weeks to recover. I am the primary financial provider in my family. Any and all help that could help us cover the week that I was unable to go to work.
I anticipate returning work soon, but would appreciate any help to alleviate the coming
weeks as I continue to recover.
