My parents did not have flood/mudslide insurance and found out they won't pay to help rebuild their house or any of the contents inside the home. They continue to wait for FEMA but have heard nothing. I have raised the amount to $25,000 so they can help start rebuilding their lives.

They have had lots of donations for furniture and household items so now all the money raised will be to rebuild a new permanent home.

Hello, my name is Kayla-Ann. My parents live in Vilas North Carolina. On September 27th my parents lost their home from Hurricane Helene. This is the home I was raised in. All they have are their clothes. People keep asking how they can help and right now they are living in a hotel, so I want to start raising money to help them with expenses once they find housing. They will need to repurchase all furniture items, couches, beds, dining room items kitchen items like cups, plates. pots pans. ect. and much much more. I feel this is the best way to help them out right now.
