Support Rebel's Family Through Cancer Battle

Well hello I’m Rebel. I’m doing this for my family. This is tough. About 10 weeks ago my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer. He’s had a lary put in 8 weeks ago today! We are in Ann Arbor for treatment till 8/19. We haven’t had an income in just as long. We have applied for disability. Just waiting. Meanwhile medical bills and regular bills are rolling in. Travel expenses. Life expenses. We don’t go out but to get what is absolutely needed. We go out to dinner once or twice a week. We usually share and bring leftovers back to share for our next meals. We just need some help! Trying to make sure we have what we need here and what our family needs at home to survive is so stressful. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Went out to va office. Update. Still in waiting. Someone is reviewing his case as the doctors submit what is needed. Nick said office is damn near broke. How do people get sick and keep bills going? Called and canceled bills that normally come out of account. Thank god they are all understanding! Still don’t mean they will hold them till we can pay them. The panic is real. The worry is real. In a time he needs to relax and heal all we do is cry and cling to each other. Yes I know I need to go back to work. And I pray soon I can leave him home alone to do so. But as of now I’m still his full time care taker. He can’t drive safely yet. I’ve never felt more desperate in my life. This is all very humbling. Went to veterans closet and got some supplies thank goodness! Anyway yes I know to much info. I’m sorry. And I do want to thank you all that have donated. Called! Texted and visited with us. We appreciate you all and the prayers more than anyone knows!
