Hello!!

My name is Rebekah and I’m the second oldest of 4 kids born to my parents. I have never started one of these pages and I don’t normally ask for help, but I can’t sit back and not try at least.

A month, maybe more, ago my mother had a full knee replacement, which went fairly well, and she was back home doing pretty good to say the least. When on Monday, Nov 3rd, she took a bad fall, split open her replaced knee incision, and fractured her hip in a few places. Today she is having hip surgery. My father is retired and gets a tiny retirement, not even enough to buy groceries, let alone gas to go to the hospital with my mother since they live 35-45 minutes one way.

On top of their gas heater not working, it being cold, the electric heater running a huge power bill, and now my mother can’t help because she is in the hospital. She will also have rehab after this, so the medical bills are going to stack up huge. I’m asking for anyone's help in donating to try and get my parents (my father less stress) some relief while my mother can heal and get back to her normal self. If you can’t, I understand times are tough and they will take much prayer, but if you can, I’m sure God will bless you so much for it, and my parents would forever be grateful!!

My father, being a pastor for so many years, wouldn’t want me doing this; he would just say have faith, but having faith is also believing that the help they need will be met.
