Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My name is Rebekah Parker, and at 52 years old, I'm facing the fight of my life against stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized to other parts of my body. For 26 years, I've been blessed with a loving marriage to my husband, who's now 51, and together we've raised two wonderful children—a 20-year-old and a 19-year-old daughter who is autistic and experiences frequent seizures. Our daughter requires round-the-clock care, including help with meals, personal hygiene, showers, and everything in between, which has always been our family's top priority.

We've always prided ourselves on being self-reliant—my husband has worked long hours to ensure we never needed outside assistance, and we've kept a low profile, focusing on our close-knit family. We've even made it a point to help those less fortunate whenever we could. But now, everything has changed. My treatments and medications keep me asleep much of the time to manage the excruciating pain, leaving me unable to contribute as I once did.

My husband has had to drastically cut back his work hours to care for both me and our daughter. He's up every day from 5:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m., with interruptions throughout the night, and the exhaustion is taking a heavy toll on him physically and mentally. Financially, we're barely holding on—bills are piling up, and we're doing everything we can to stay afloat and complete my treatments. We've even considered the heartbreaking option of separating temporarily to stay with relatives, but we refuse to let cancer tear our family apart. We want to stay together, supporting each other through this nightmare.

This is the first time we've ever reached out for help, and it's not easy for us—we've always handled things on our own. But right now, we truly need your support to keep our family intact and cover essential expenses for survival, medical care, and daily needs. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and be used solely to help us get through this. Sharing our story would also make a huge difference in spreading the word.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your compassion and generosity. Your kindness could be the lifeline we so desperately need.

With gratitude,
Rebekah Parker and Family
