Support Rebekah and Kids After Tragic Loss
Donation protected
Dear friends and community,
My name is Shelby Tarman (Humphreys), and I am reaching out on behalf of my sister, Rebekah Humphreys, and her two beloved children, Mahdulyn and Gaihge Winchester. On the early morning of December 7th, 2024, tragedy struck when Ryan Winchester, Rebekah’s husband and the children’s father, was fatally struck by a car while crossing a busy road in Gresham. The driver did not stop, and despite the valiant efforts of EMTs, Ryan was declared deceased at the scene.
Ryan was the sole provider for their family, and his sudden passing has left them in an incredibly difficult situation. While they currently have housing, Rebekah is temporarily disabled and unable to work due to the need for hip surgery. This leaves them with limited financial resources and no reliable vehicle.
The children are safe and surrounded by love, but the future feels uncertain and daunting without Ryan. Rebekah is understandably proud and hesitant to ask for help, but she has graciously agreed to allow me to set up this fundraiser to provide support during this challenging time.
We are seeking donations to help cover basic living expenses and to establish a bank account for the children’s future needs. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in their lives. We would be immensely grateful for any support you can offer, whether it be a financial contribution or simply sharing this message with your network.
Additionally, the Gresham Police Department and our family are urgently requesting anyone with information about the accident to come forward. Your help in spreading the word could lead to valuable information.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this heartbreaking time. Together, we can help Rebekah and her children find some stability as they navigate this difficult journey.
With gratitude,
Shelby Tarman (Humphreys)
