My husband had a seizure two weeks ago, and now he needs open heart bypass surgery. I am his full-time caregiver, and while he is in the hospital, I am unable to work or earn an income. On top of that, I have custody of our 7-year-old grandson and care for my 70-year-old mother, so my days are spent making sure everyone is safe and cared for.

We live in an older home with a downstairs bathroom that desperately needs repairs—the floor is rotted, and the bathtub is falling through. We had planned to fix it, but with all the unexpected expenses, our savings have gone to more urgent needs. Now, with my husband needing total care and facing a long recovery, we need to make major modifications to our home, including adding a wheelchair ramp and a walk-in shower, so he can come home safely.

Any help from anyone would mean the world to us. The money raised will go toward gas for daily trips from Pioneer to Toledo to be with my husband, and to make our home accessible for his return.
