Hello friends and family.

I never thought we would be in a situation like this, but here we are. My name is Raina, and I am the middle of 5 children. My amazing parents are high school sweethearts who have been together through the highest highs, and lowest lows. We are now at the lowest point we have been at in our lives. My beautiful, selfless mother received a call on December 10th 2025, a day I will never forget. She had just had a reconstructive breast surgery, the first of several surgeries to try and prevent breast cancer due to a genetic disorder. The doctor told her to sit down and mentally prepare because he had devastating news. The surgery she was doing to prevent the cancer, showed that she already had Stage 2 breast cancer. I will never forget the phone call I received from her, and the utter heartbreak I felt in that moment. From that moment on, she has had a double mastectomy, and too many doctor appointments to count. Unfortunately, even with the surgery, she has progressed to stage 3, and we are currently trying to find the best treatment we can for her. For those of you who know my mom, she is the most selfless mother and Nannie I know. She raised 5 children, giving up a lot to take on the tireless job of being a stay at home mom. She is now the best Nannie to 11 grandchildren with more to come. She is the absolute center of all our worlds, and we are going to fight by her side to the end, regardless of the outcome. My parents would never ask anything from anyone, but I know how bills from all the different treatments are going to add up. Anything helps at this time, and we ask that you keep my mom and our entire family in your prayers.
