Hello, my name is Rebecca Smith. I do understand everyone is going through hard times the last few years. I was a FT Social Worker and became a FT 24/7 Healthcare Administrator working with the elderly. And I absolutely loved my career. However, I became ill and was diagnosed with liver disease. Terminal illness. And Parkinson's! This required me to be unemployable. I have been struggling and I am 2 months behind in rent, along with many other bills, including medical co-pays and $200 a month in meds. After working with the elderly for many years, I find myself in many of their shoes, trying to see what medications I can do without or buy food. I just had my 57th birthday and I had a good day, which are getting fewer with my illnesses. I've been trying to keep positive and be in the moment.
