Support Rebecca Loveless: A Veteran's Fight for Life

I’ve know Becca since I was a little girl. Today I saw her pour her heart out and say she just wanted to die. She’s in pain, she needs lots of medical attention and on top of that, she’s at risk of losing her home. While she’s currently in a VA hospital in Colorado - there’s only so much I can do to help her, starting with getting her story out and seeing if all of those who know and love her can help in anyway we can. Not only does her son need her to keep going, but so do the rest of us. So please help me share this link and maybe take a bit of her struggles off her shoulder by helping her pay her mortgage this month, other bills and groceries for her family.
Here’s her story:
My name is Rebecca Loveless. I’m a 33 year old army veteran. I served faithfully in the United States Army for 10 1/2 years. In 2018, I was in a horrible motorcycle accident. Due to this, my life changed drastically for the worse. Since then I’ve had 79 surgeries. I suffer from chronic pain, seizures, and many other medical conditions. I have to get many medical devices implanted in me to survive. This includes a pacemaker, feeding tube, and a nerve simulator in my spine and lower back. I’m currently getting ready for my 80th surgery. I’ve tried to work as much as I can, but I can no longer work as I can’t stay out of the hospital long enough to be employed. I’m a single mom struggling to stay afloat. I’ve fallen so far behind on my bills I don’t see a way out anymore. I’m currently back in the hospital with a severe bowel obstruction. I can’t afford to survive and be sick at the same time anymore. I suffer from a rare disease, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. I got lucky enough to get a rare form of CMT and some of the rarest conditions due to it. My heart is failing, I’ve developed a hole in my heart I’m waiting on surgery to have it closed, my left lung is completely collapsed. My right lower lung collapsed. My diaphragm is paralyzed. My stomach is paralyzed and most of just got removed. I have a J tube now as my body can no longer tolerate food. Now I have a bowel obstruction. My bladder and pelvic floor are paralyzed too. I’m a 100% disabled veteran. I just need a little help to get ahead so I can afford to die while keeping a roof over my child’s head. I also have three more surgeries already scheduled and waiting on. I would love to work. If I could work remotely, I would in a second. I don’t like asking for help, but at this point I’m not mentally okay. I don’t know how much more I can fall behind and keep my mind occupied enough to stay on this planet and fight another day. I’m trying. thanks for having my six.
