Hi On the evening of June 3rd our chocolate lab, Reba, suffered a severe spinal injury. She immediately lost the ability to move her hind legs. We spent the night with Reba at the MSU Animal Hospital where she received great care. We have a long road ahead of us to get Reba back to herself and the costs are already mounting. We are managing her injury on our own, but we were informed that she won’t regain full strength without a surgery. The surgery + post op will cost roughly $10,000.

Reba girl is our world. And we know she’s brought joy to many people.

We’re asking for help because the sudden costs are overwhelming.

She needs weekly vet visits, and 3 types of medication. In the 24 hours since the incident occurred we have racked up $1,000 in costs (meds, ER visit, sling for her hind legs, other dog supplies to make caring for her easier on everyone.)
