Hi, my name is Reagan Samples, and I’m starting this GoFundMe to help fund my student teaching journey.

For the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of working with special education students, and it has truly shaped who I am as an educator. Supporting these students has become one of the greatest joys in my life, and it’s a significant part of why I’m taking the next step toward becoming a fully certified teacher.

As many people don’t realize, student teaching is a full-time commitment—but it is unpaid. While I’m excited and ready for this next chapter, it also means giving up the income I rely on while still covering everyday expenses, transportation, and the costs that come with completing my credential program. This financial gap is one of the greatest challenges future teachers face, and I’m feeling it firsthand.

Any support, whether through donations or simply sharing this page, helps me get closer to the classroom where I can continue doing what I love: supporting students, especially those who need patient, individualized guidance to thrive.
