Early last week, we learned that my sister, Reagan Barber (also known as Sailor), was killed in her home. She was just 25 years old, and a few days shy of her 26th birthday.
The circumstances surrounding her passing are still under investigation. We hope for some clarity in time, right now we are just trying to make sense of this loss that feels impossible to heal from or understand
Reagan has always been a loving, funny, dedicated, and energetic person. She had sooo much life still ahead of her. More than anything, she was a devoted single mom. Her 5 year old daughter was her whole entire world, her motivation, and the person she loved most. We are doing all we can to guide her daughter through this and will continue to support her as she processes this through all the future stages of her life
We don’t expect anything from anyone, but if you do feel moved to donate toward her funeral expenses to ease this sudden financial strain on our family, we are deeply grateful for even the smallest amount.
Anything remaining will be placed in a trust for her daughter’s future, to help provide the stability and care Reagan gave her and would want her to have.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers.
