Our friend RC needs our help. He is dealing with the biggest challenge of his life. RC has been diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver and has been on medical leave for several weeks. Our friend has been to the ER several times in the past few months. He has a few treatments available and the most hopeful is a liver transplant. He has exhausted his financial resources. RC is part of our family and needs our help. He will be battling the disease while also needing resources for living and the medical bills that will pile up.

Chris Arce “RC” was first introduced and fell in love with the game of golf back in 2008 while working as a Marketing Manager for a commercial auto insurance company. He quickly realized that he wanted to work in the golf industry and came across an ad for a position in the cart barn at a place called Austin Country Club. RC joined Austin Country Club in April 2010 as part of the Outside Services Team. In the spring of 2018, RC led the Outside Services Team out at Lakecliff for a year during ACC’s lease partnership term and in the Fall of 2019, RC transitioned back to ACC into the role he has served in ever since, as the Starter on the first tee. A role perfectly suited for him and his warm, hospitable nature.

RC was born and raised in California and made his way to Texas in 1995. He has a 13-year old son, Drayk, and a 21-year old daughter, Karena.

RC is part of our ACC family and needs our help. We want to see him back at the first tee with his great smile and welcoming personality.
