Rayven is our co-worker, and she is more than an asset to the company; she is part of our work family. Recently, while at the gym, Rayven fainted and was rushed to the hospital, where she learned she had a brain bleed. Two immediate surgeries were done to release the pressure by removing the blood on her brain and to install a drain until a third surgery could be completed. This third surgery was completed a week after she originally fainted. It is unknown if Rayven will need additional surgeries or what physical therapies/ongoing treatments will be a part of her recovery at this time. She is currently in her second week in ICU.
Rayven is a hard worker and immediately made a strong impact on our department with her work ethic and positive attitude. Her absence is felt not only in her work but also in not seeing her smiling face daily. The Accounting Department at Horsburgh & Scott is more than happy to help organize this fundraiser for her to help in whatever way she may need in the coming months. We appreciate any and all donations to help her out as she recovers.
