Support Ray's Heart and Rehab Journey

I am Ray Charles Butcher’s sister Debbie. I first would like to again thank all of you for the abundant prayers for my brother Ray during his heart procedure. He had 5 stints put into one artery and has heart damage. He will need Cardiac Rehabilitation and will need to travel from his home in Smithville TN to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville TN. Ray and Susan recently moved from Florida so they are in a new community not knowing anyone at his time. The approximate drive time to rehab therapy will be fours per day, three days per week for 12 weeks. Due to the seriousness of his overall health he cannot have rehab close to home and needs to be at Vanderbilt for any potential emergency. Because of damage to his heart and lungs at this time he is unable to drive himself and his wife Susan will have to take off work to drive him. Ray also has lung scaring from long haul Covid and suffers from long term Lymes Disease. His surgeon added a new drug for the first 12-16 weeks after his surgery that is extremely important and he needs to take it on a daily basis and it is not covered by insurance and is pricey.

I am reaching out to friends and family to consider donating to help Ray Charles during this difficult time. I hope if we come together to help him it will reduce his stress and worry and alleviate their financial burden. I know that money is tight at this time for so many but even if you can donate 5 or 10 dollars it would be greatly appreciated. This money would be used for gas expenses and medication.
