Rayo is a two-year-old happy, loving hound who has been with us since he was just four months old. He has brought so much joy and light into our lives, and we cherish every moment with him.

About a month and a half ago, Rayo began experiencing abnormal neurological activity and has since suffered two severe seizures. We've visited multiple vets, completed numerous blood tests, and even had an MRI that revealed inflammation in his brain. Despite all these efforts, the exact cause remains unclear, and his neurologist and vet are still working to determine the best treatment. For now, controlling his seizures is the top priority, and we are holding onto hope that he will heal and return to his happy self.

The financial burden has been overwhelming. Although we had insurance, it only covered a small portion of the costs, while our bills have already reached a significant amount by early April. The expenses continue to grow as we pay for ongoing medication and prepare for another MRI in a few months. As a middle school Spanish teacher and with Josiah working as a cook, it has been incredibly difficult for us to manage these costs on our own.
