On Friday, April 17, our world was shattered by the unexpected passing of Shana at UC Health Hospital. Shana was a devoted mother whose entire world revolved around her daughter, Rayne. Shana poured her heart and soul into raising her, with a single, unwavering goal: to ensure Rayne had a beautiful life and every opportunity to succeed. Despite a difficult final year of unemployment, Shana’s pride never wavered as she watched Rayne excel, maintaining a 3.2 GPA and preparing to graduate high school this spring. Rayne was Shana’s "light," and her greatest wish was to see her daughter thrive in college this fall. With money being incredibly tight following this tragedy, we are asking for the community’s help to fulfill Shana’s dream. All donations will go directly into a memorial fund for Rayne to cover her upcoming college expenses and basic needs as she navigates life without her mother.
