Support Raymond's Spinal Surgery Recovery

Hello Everyone,

My name is Heather Molina and I am the wife of Raymond Molina Jr. Many of you became familiar with our cancer journey last spring when Raymond had a mandiblectomy performed in Boston and many of you donated in order to make this trip a possibility and success. I am starting a new GoFundMe this year because Raymond is once again facing surgery but this time, spinal surgery, to correct a fracture in his vertebrae caused by a metastatic lesion. Unlike last year, we will be staying local but his recovery period will be three months in a neck brace with radiation and continued immunotherapy as a part of his treatment plan.

Throughout this whole journey, I have maintained my daycare business but as of the end of June-early July, the little girl I watch will be staying home as her mom is having a baby. When mom goes back to work after an extended FMLA in December, I will begin watching the baby. However, there will be an income gap between July and December and as I will be the caregiver of Raymond during this next phase of our journey, I am not in a position to find an alternative employment opportunity as I have committed to my husband as well as my current daycare family to be available in December.
