Hi, I am Angie, Raymond Smith's oldest daughter. My siblings and I want to raise money for Dad. On Christmas Eve, we found out Dad has Duodenal Adenocarcinoma, which is a very rare type of cancer. His is aggressive, and they had to stop his surgery and tell us it is inoperable. Dad spent 3 weeks in the hospital.

He has since started chemo, and it has shrunk the tumor, but he will be on chemo for the rest of his life. Dad still tries to work as much as he can, but he just got Medicaid, and the bills are starting to come in. They have no savings. Mom has been a stay-at-home wife/mother and is still going a week a month to take care of Grandma in Florida, who is 93.

Their 43-year wedding anniversary is coming up in September, and we are trying to raise $5000. Dad's bills so far are $2300 and still coming in. We are trying to raise some money to cover that, maybe try to rent them a cabin in the mountains for a weekend, and a little extra for the bills still coming in.
