updates: The past month and half ish has been a long journey for our daughter. She spent in the NICU the first week of her life, no answers were given. Went home for a month, ended up in the ER one day and got life flighted to a children’s hospital. Wasn’t easy to see our baby go through what she went through. She spent most of her time in the PICU til a couple days ago where she was able to get out of the ICU and hope we would be heading home at some point soon as long as we are making steps forward.
Only potential diagnosis the doctors could give us was bilateral vocal cords paralysis. Why or how this happen? We don’t know. For us to be able to go home and let her heal and grow, she had to get a temporary trach in after two surgeries. The doctors stated that they like how things are looking but the cords aren’t moving like they should be. So trach it is for now until we come back here in March for follow up.
As this being said, I am a NICU mom, I am a PICU mom and finally I am a trach mom to my baby girl.
So please keep sharing or donate the go fundme link as I had to resign my job to care for our daughter. Anything that would help us get by for the long run.
Hello; Craig and I are the parent of our baby girl Raylynn who is almost 2 months old. She had a medical emergency and had to be life flighted to another state away from our home. She had to be intubated due to struggling with breathing. We do not know what is the cause of this at this point. We have no answers yet. Surgery is up in the air as we are looking for answers….Due to being away from home; not working and her health insurance is pending. We want to create this gofund me and be prepared for anything that comes our way. Not only medical bills but other bills on top of it as well. Anything would be greatly appreciated to help us get through this rough patch with our daughter…
updates: our daughter has gone through two different surgeries meaning we will be in the hospital a little longer. Doctors are unsure when we will get to go home. So please keep sharing and donate. We are gonna need more help than anything. I have quit my job so I can take care of our daughter once we are back home as we start a new journey. Please share around.
