Our dad, Ray Thompson, has served his community for well over 20 years with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Vicksburg Police Department, never asking for anything in return, including asking us not to make this GoFundMe. He provided that service because he loves the city of Vicksburg and Warren County along with its citizens.

On November 6th, he had a very serious heart attack, followed by triple bypass surgery on November 11th. He will need a lot of therapy and follow-up care. Due to only recently joining the Police Department, there are some insurance as well as sick time restrictions. He will be off for at a minimum of 3 months. We completely understand if some don’t have money to donate, but if you could help us get the word out, we would truly appreciate it. So we’re asking anyone that can help out to please show him how much he is truly loved.
