Many of us at Rack & Riddle are blessed to know Ray Brammeier. While we worked alongside Ray, a kind and selfless individual, he generously shared his time and knowledge mentoring countless colleagues throughout his extensive career in the wine industry. He has touched many lives and has left a lasting impact both personally and professionally, becoming a true friend to many.

Ray, our Supply Chain Manager, was on the cusp of celebrating his 10th anniversary with Rack & Riddle and eagerly anticipating his well-deserved retirement at the end of this year. Tragically, this past December, a serious car accident caused by another driver drastically altered the course of Ray’s life. Multiple hours of neurosurgery and spinal stabilization procedures have left him facing significant physical challenges and long-term care needs.

This unexpected event has placed a heavy financial burden on Ray and his family, on top of the immense emotional strain. Despite this hardship, Ray’s characteristically positive and cheerful hope for the future shine through. His wife Lynn, and daughters Rachelle and Angela, and their families are by his side, offering unwavering support.

We at Rack & Riddle are reaching out to our extended family for your support. A GoFundMe page has been established to help Ray and his family manage the rising medical costs as well as future medical costs, along with his long-term rehabilitation costs, to include therapy, specialized equipment, in-home and out-patient care, home and vehicle modifications.
