Hi, my name is Angie and I have been walking alongside my best friend Raven for many years in her healthcare journey.

Raven has Sickle Cell Disease, Crohns, and a rare degenerative liver disease known as Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. She has been listed for a liver transplant since 2021 and as she rapidly declines we are hopeful for the transplant to take place very soon. Due to circumstances beyond our control Raven will need extra support for this life-saving procedure much sooner than later.

Early on we fundraised through an official transplant organization recommended by her transplant team. The National Foundation for Transplants (NFT), that stated it would support post-transplant costs. We've been informed that the organization is no longer operating and have lost access to the money it took 3 years to raise.

Beyond any of that Raven is an amazing person with a colorful and bright soul and I cannot imagine a life without her. Raven and I crossed paths from pre-K on and finally met and became friends when we were only 12 years old. It would be an understatement to say that she's made me a better person. I've done all I can for so long to support her and make sure she has the best possible chance for care. And now I need help.
