I never thought I would seriously need a GoFundMe, but this past Monday I went to the ER thinking I had a gallbladder issue at worst. Early Tuesday morning, I found out it was cancer, and by Wednesday, I learned it was stage 4 colon/liver cancer. The news has been overwhelming and life-changing in ways I never imagined.

As many of you know, I am a single mother raising my two children on my own. Bills do not stop, and I am still planning to work full time while also starting chemo treatments, blood draws, and facing whatever else comes along with this very hard journey. I am determined to fight this with everything I have, but the reality is that the financial burden is heavy. Having some of that weight lifted would allow me to focus on healing and getting to remission, and most importantly, being there for my children.
