Dear friends and kind NPCs (aka strangers), I'm Raven.
I'm a parent, a dog mom, gamer console/newbie (KBM), skater (inline/rollerblader), and a loving and caring person. Treat others as you want to be treated type.
I've been trying to get necessary Facial Feminization surgeries since 2022. After going back and forth with surgeons and my former employer, I decided to quit and find a job with the medical coverage I needed. I found a job that had coverage and a date was in the works, but they changed insurance policies. Luckily for me, one surgeon's office does have this happen and was able to get me approved. I have a date of March 12 early in the morning and my lovely wifey will be taking us back home after. The only downside is the new expenses since my job changed policies. The copay and other expenses are quite steep, so I decided to come here. I have about $3500 saved, but that isn't enough under the new policies to account for things like:
Medical Expenses:
- Copay increase
- Medications
- Travel for follow-up appointments
Living Expenses:
- Rent & utilities
- Groceries for a specific diet
- Daily necessities
That being said, I could just quit and get another job in hopes of them not doing the same. Where's a Mario brother... jkjk. For real though, since coming out, I'm not getting nearly as many interviews. When I do get prospective employment, I'm not chosen. I have more than enough experience with almost 2 decades and several licenses/certifications in my career field.
Many of you know me from a radio show where I would bring food to our favorite afternoon radio hosts, who were unfortunately canceled around my wedding. Yep, that's the one, "TDS" That Damn Show. I formerly went by "That Damn Dasher," that is when I would drop off food for them. Those were the days, but now it's been 4 years since their cancellation. They went different ways, as did I. Now you may know me from TikTok or other platforms as Raven The Mechanic. Not really much of a streamer, but I do okay at making affiliate videos.
