Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,
My name is Christina Calph, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to support my colleague in film and dear friend Raven Krogstad. Raven is a vibrant, kind-hearted, and strong woman who has been bravely battling stage 4 endometrial cancer since her diagnosis. Despite undergoing surgery on June 7th, 2023, followed by chemotherapy and ongoing immunotherapy, Raven’s fight is far from over. Recently, we received the heartbreaking news that her cancer has returned.
Raven’s journey has been incredibly challenging. The aggressive nature of her cancer, coupled with the side effects of her treatments, has left her unable to work. She has faced every hurdle with remarkable courage, but the financial burden of her medical expenses, combined with everyday living costs, has become overwhelming.
Why We Need Your Help:
Raven is about to begin a new medication aimed at slowing the spread of her cancer. While we are hopeful for its effectiveness, the treatment is rough, and she needs our support more than ever. The stress of her inability to work is compounded by the very real threat of eviction. Raven deserves to focus on her health and healing, not on the fear of losing her home.
