My name is Amanda. I am setting up this Go Fund Me for a friend, Raven Lawrence to help with monthly bills to survive while she is unable to work as the Manager of The Spot Drive In.

On May 7, 2025 Raven was in a horrific car accident that occurred on 85th street and Sheridan Road in Kenosha. She was on her way home from her daughter's house after helping with her newborn grandson. She was just blocks away from home, when a drunk driver T-boned her vehicle at an extremely high rate of speed of over 100mph sending her car across 4 lanes of traffic and crashing into a utility pole. Her best friend who was in the car with her, did not survive the crash.

Raven was taken Flight for Life to Milwaukee where she underwent 3 surgeries. She had fracture of the left scapula (shoulder blade), fracture of the shaft of the left and right clavicle (collarbone), subarachnoid hemorrhage (brain bleed), multiple ribs fracture right side, cervical transverse process fracture, fracture of neck and had C1-C2 fusion (surgery to fuse the vertebrae together using screws and rods) and ORIF C2 (slight movement in one direction and she would have been fully paralyzed) fracture of the ulna and radius (broken arm near the wrist joint) and T2-T7 on spine fractures. We are very grateful and blessed that she survived the accident but now faces a long road to recovery.

From May 7th until May 22nd she was in the hospital in Milwaukee. She is currently homebound requiring 24 hour a day assistance and doing in home PT and OT. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Not only physically but mentally as well.

Note: The driver is facing Homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle. He was given a $100,000 cash bond which was posted 2 days later. (Although he has the absolute bare minimum insurance coverage, not enough to cover even a smidge of the hospital bills that are accumulating). Raven was not even conscious or done having surgeries and out of the ICU for almost 2 weeks after the accident and this man was out walking the streets and continuing on with his life just 2 days later.
