Support Raul Madera's Experimental Cancer Treatment

Hello,

My name is Carolina, and I am Raul Madera's sister. My family and I are trying to come up with different ways to raise funds to help my brother. You see, in 2012, my brother was first diagnosed with cancer. For years, he fought bravely, but in 2022, the disease became more aggressive. Doctors told us he had only 18 months to live — a devastating prognosis. Despite the odds, he refused to give up. Now, he's been given a rare opportunity to begin an experimental treatment that offers new hope.

This new experimental treatment requires him to travel to San Francisco and stay there for several days at a time, every 21 days or so. It’s a multi-phase (10 Phases) process, with Phase 1 starting as early as next week. The travel and lodging costs, along with the physical and emotional toll, are overwhelming for our family.
