Hello everyone, we’re Raul Jr. and Alex Cervantes, and we’re reaching out on behalf of our beloved father, Raul Cervantes Sr. Our dad has always been a fighter. Through his hard work and expertise in his field, he was able to move to the United States and work towards citizenship for him and his family. Our dad has always been a hardworking and loving man who has faced every challenge life has thrown his way. He has always put his family first. Our dad's greatest joy was seeing his wife and sons enjoy the opportunities and experiences he never had growing up in Mexico.

Our Story:

Our dad has lived with persistent back pain for years, but he never allowed it to slow him down. When the pain became unbearable and immobilizing, further testing revealed the true cause: Multiple Myeloma.

Multiple Myeloma is a cancer of the plasma cells in the bone marrow, which plays a crucial role in immune function. This disease can weaken the bones, causing pain, fractures, and loss of mobility. It also affects the kidneys, blood, and immune system, leaving patients more vulnerable to infections and other complications. While there is no cure, treatment options like chemotherapy, radiation, and potentially a stem cell transplant can help manage the disease and improve quality of life.

Adding to the heartbreak, our dad was recently laid off from his job of 20 years. Losing his steady income has made an already difficult situation even harder and Raul is having to sell his home to cover his treatment expenses. With medical bills piling up and everyday expenses becoming overwhelming, he’s been struggling to keep up while preparing for the fight of his life.
