Greetings to family, friends, and all those who loved my father Raul Castro. My name is Solan, and it is with a heavy heart to tell you all that my father has suddenly passed away on the evening of April 19th from a heart attack. He is survived by his three sons whose dedication and love towards us was unmatched. Those of you who were fortunate enough to meet my father, know that his personality and character cannot be encapsulated in these few sentences, or even thousands. He was incredibly caring, charismatic, inventive, and spirited in ways that warded off any and all adversaries. His laughter and story telling could captivate anyone in a room.

My father’s unexpected passing has left his surviving sons to deal with unexpected financial burdens. We are reaching out to the community for any support regarding the following:

Mi nombre es Solan, y con el corazón pesado les informo a todos que mi padre falleció repentinamente la noche del 19 de abril a causa de un ataque al corazón. Le sobreviven sus tres hijos, hacia quienes su dedicación y amor no tenían comparación. Aquellos de ustedes que tuvieron la fortuna de conocer a mi padre saben que su personalidad y carácter no pueden ser encapsulados en estas pocas palabras, ni siquiera en miles.
