Con gran dolor en nuestros corazones, compartimos el fallecimiento de Raul Beltrán, quien nos dejó el Día de las Madres, el 11 de mayo, después de una dura batalla contra la cirrosis. Al final, nos informaron que ya no se podía hacer nada más—fue intubado y le dieron 24 horas debido a que sus órganos comenzaron a fallar.

Raúl era una persona bajita, graciosa, alegre y llena de vida, que iluminaba cualquier lugar al que llegaba. Le encantaba bailar, tocar la guitarra y cocinar para su familia. Tenía un corazón de oro y alegró la vida de muchas personas. Tenemos incontables recuerdos llenos de risas, música y cariño gracias a él. De verdad, fue una gran persona en todos los sentidos.

Nuestra familia está devastada por su pérdida y estamos haciendo todo lo posible para darle la despedida que se merece. Lamentablemente, Raúl no contaba con Medicare, lo cual ha dejado a nuestra familia con todos los gastos médicos y funerarios por cubrir. Estamos recaudando $8,000 para ayudar con los gastos del funeral.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Raul Beltran, who left us on Mother’s Day, May 11th, after a difficult battle with cirrhosis. In the end, we were told that there was nothing more that could be done—he was intubated and given 24 hours as his organs began to shut down.

Raul was a short, funny, fun-loving soul who lit up every room he walked into. He loved to dance, play the guitar, and cook for his family. He had a heart of gold and brought joy to so many people’s lives. We have countless memories filled with laughter, music, and warmth thanks to him. He truly was a great person through and through.

Our family is heartbroken by his loss and we are doing everything we can to give him the farewell he deserves. Unfortunately, Raul was not covered by Medicare, which has left our family to cover all medical and funeral costs out-of-pocket. We are raising $8,000 to help with funeral expenses.
