Rosalyn is raising funds for Ratha, a beloved uncle who is facing an incredibly painful and uncertain situation. Ratha has been detained and is expected to be sent to Cambodia because of his immigration status. He came to the United States legally through family sponsorship when he was about one year old. He has never even set foot in Cambodia and was born in a refugee camp in Thailand after his family fled war. More than 20 years ago, Ratha made mistakes as a teenager and very young adult, and those past decisions led to his immigration status being revoked. But those mistakes do not define the person he became. Over the last two decades, Ratha built a family, worked hard, gave back to his community, and became an entrepreneur. He and his wife poured their hearts, bodies, and souls into building City Watch Coffee.

This fundraiser will help Ratha and his family with the urgent costs of hiring an immigration lawyer and preparing for the possibility of moving his family to Cambodia in the future.
