Hi everyone,
My name is Sonia Lozada , and I’m humbly reaching out on behalf of my beloved niece, Raquel Venus Gregory, who is currently admitted at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu, Philippines.
Just a few days ago, our lives changed in an instant when Raquel Venus Gregory , a sweet and joyful 20-year-old, was rushed to the hospital with a severe infection. She has since been diagnosed with sepsis, a life-threatening condition that has caused her body to go into critical illness. Right now, she is under constant care, surrounded by monitors, tubes, and machines — but most importantly, she is surrounded by love and hope.
This has been an incredibly emotional time for our family. Watching someone so young and full of life face such a serious battle is heartbreaking. But we know she is a fighter. Even through sedation and treatments, we see her strength every day.
As you may know, intensive care comes with overwhelming medical costs — daily ICU rates, antibiotics, life-saving procedures, and continuous monitoring — all adding up quickly. Our family is doing everything we can, but we are now in urgent need of financial support to continue giving her the care she desperately needs.
