Support Raphael Mitchem's Family and Memorial

Hello everyone,

Raphael Mitchem peacefully passed away on April 24, 2024, in Lawrenceville, Georgia of heart failure. He had a big smile, a big heart, and a big personality. He took great pride in being a father to our three beautiful daughters and he loved being a police officer with the Chicago Police Department for nearly 30 years. Raphael spent most of his life in Illinois so the family would like to bring him back home and have his memorial service here in Bellwood, Illinois. We are coming to you with heavy hearts asking for your help. We are hoping to cover some of his memorial expenses before his services on Friday, May 17th. In lieu of flowers and other tributes please consider donating to this fund. Any money left over after memorial expenses have been paid will be placed in a college fund for his 3 young daughters left behind.
