Hello loves, it’s Raphaela.

I am currently 34 weeks pregnant, and this pregnancy has been a journey of huge change, grief, and growth.

I found out I was expecting just after losing my beloved godmother, and a few months later, I stepped away from the difficult relationship with the baby’s father.

The first four months brought intense nausea and fatigue, and then having to leave our shared business meant my income took a big hit.

After coming to terms with the fact that I was going to be a single mum, I realised I needed support, especially during the build-up to and through the birth.

I’m reaching out for support to help me cover the cost of my wonderful doula, Thea, who is a trained birth companion.

Thea’s calm, steady presence has been so supportive during this challenging time. She offers emotional, physical, and practical support and will be by my side through labour and the early days with my baby. Having her there means I can focus on preparing for birth, feeling safe, supported, and cared for.

Thea has already made such a difference — helping me stay grounded during anxious moments, guiding me through choices about birth, and reminding me that I've got this. Knowing she’ll be there when labour begins gives me space to look forward to meeting my baby with calm and confidence.

Thea’s full doula package is £1,800. This includes prenatal visits, on-call support from 38 weeks, attendance at birth, and postnatal visits.
