Ransome just turned 7 in April. He is the most active dog and sweetest boy. He loves to run!!! He is super strong and knows a trick or two. Ransome has a super bright personality, a block head, and a massive pitty smile.
On May 4th, our boy Ransome had a seizure, and everything changed. Since this happened he has slowly been declining.
Since then he has been diagnosed with prostatitis, prescribed antibiotics, given medicine to help with pain, and began using his left hind leg less, he walked less, slept more.
We have been to the vet 7 time since that date. Each time I missed work or Ciera closed the shop.
We saw a rapid decline and moved up his neuter date. May 12th he was neutered, by my 15th he could no longer walk.
Ransome has lost all use of his back legs. He has lost bladder and bowel function, he's lost his spark, he's lost his smile.
He won't eat, won't drink, moves very little, if at all, dragging his back legs. He's visible sad, visibly changing...didn't know you could see depression in a dog. He just lays around, no appetite, no desire to drink, doesn't respond to treats or ANY OF HIS FAVORITE WORDS!!
We are taking him to a neurosurgant. Full transparency, we don't have neurosurgery money in our pockets. This can be up to $10,000
WE'RE SCARED and DESPERATE.!!!
Any help is appreciated from the bottom of our hearts!
