I am reaching out to you today to share the story of our beloved Sister Rania, who has been a dedicated teacher of the Qur’an in our community for many years. Originally from Egypt, Sister Rania came to this country to study, but Allah’s plan led her to teaching the Qur’an, which became her passion and main source of income. She has since become an integral part of our community, touching the lives of many children through her teaching.
Sadly, last year, Sister Rania was diagnosed with breast cancer. The cancer has now spread to her liver, and she is facing severe health challenges. On top of her medical struggles, Sister Rania is also facing financial hardship. Due to her visa status, she is unable to access any government support or benefits. Right now, she has no savings left and is struggling to meet her basic needs, such as paying rent and buying food.
We have tried reaching out to various charities for help, but due to strict eligibility requirements, the assistance available to her has been very limited. At the moment, Sister Rania is only able to cover one more month of rent and is deeply worried about the months ahead.
This is why we are asking for your support. Zakat is permissible in her case as she has no savings, and any help you can offer would be a great relief to her during this incredibly difficult time.
Please consider making a donation, no matter how small, and sharing this message with your friends and family. Together, we can make a real difference for Sister Rania.
May Allah reward you for your generosity and kindness.
