Finally accepting the challenge to run the Comrades Marathon - a long 89km (approx. 55 miles) race in South Africa in June 2026.

I have chosen to participate in a fundraising initiative to support South African Parks Honorary Rangers.

Living abroad, I don't get to go on safari as often as I would like, but when I do, I am transported back to my youth and the love of the bush.

The birds, plants, and animals form a balanced ecosystem, all protected by the rangers and honorary rangers in our parks, who do amazing work. They do need our support.

Everyone needs to have the African safari experience at least once in their lives, and these ever-present protectors will be there to ensure it is there in its magnificent form when you do decide to go.
