My name is Mandy. I’m one of Ranelle Beardsley’s 3 children. Many of you know her as a spunky, fun, creative, and energetic woman. I know her that way too, but I also know her as someone who is deeply compassionate and fiercely loyal to those she loves. She has always put family first and stood by us through thick and thin, no matter what. She has been strong for us when we could not be. She has made countless sacrifices for her family over the years, even at her own expense, and never asked for anything in return. But now she needs our help, and it’s our turn to be there for her.

In the last couple of weeks, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. It often goes unnoticed by doctors until it’s in advanced stages, and this is what has happened with my mom. Due to additional complications, she has been hospitalized in the ICU at Mayo Clinic since the early hours of 8/29. She is being treated for the complications while also urgently starting aggressive and risky chemo treatments. If that goes well, she will also need surgery plus additional chemo. She has a very long and difficult road ahead of her.

With the expensive hospitalizations and cancer treatments, she could use everyone’s help. Any donations will go towards out of pocket medical bills and expenses not covered by insurance.
