However, after undergoing several cervical spine surgeries, I have been left with neurological deficits and a paralyzed vocal cord, which make it impossible for me to work. Nurse becomes patient. My last day of employment was October 3, 2024, and since then, my resources have run out while my bills continue to pile up.

This has been an incredibly difficult and humbling journey. I never imagined I would find myself in a position where I needed to ask for help, but the reality is that I am now dependent on others for support.
