My name is Thomas Morgan. I'm Randy's oldest brother. Over the last few months, Randy has been getting right side pain below the rib area. After a few tests and a couple of weeks, they found a mass on his right-side adrenal gland. From there, they set up a PET scan, but Randy was unable to wait anymore, so he and his wife drove to U of M ER where they stayed for a week and did more tests, finding another mass in his left lung. Well, after last Friday's biopsy, they found out Randy has NSCLC squamous cancer that has already metastasized. Randy is at home, unable to work because of the pain he is in. We are still waiting for treatment options for Randy from the oncologist at the U of M so we can make a decision on which direction to go. This journey for Randy will be long and hard. I'm not usually a big GoFundMe guy, but I guess you do what you have to for the ones you love. I'm starting this GoFundMe to help my brother with added expenses his insurance doesn't cover and to pay his bills since he is unable to work. Bills will be travel to and from the hospital, co-pays, a medical bed, household bills when his wife is unable to work, or loss of time. I'm asking for help so Randy has one less thing to worry about. For the ones that know Randy, he's always been the guy to make you laugh, would do about anything for anyone. Randy currently lives in Harrisville, but we were born and raised in Kalamazoo. He loves fishing on the big lakes, hunting with his family, and has never been afraid of work.
