For those that don't know me, my name is Jessica and I am one of Randy's daughters. My sister, Melissa, and brother, Kevin, and I have started this GoFundMe in hopes of taking a little burden off of Randy while he focuses on his health.

Last month, we got the shocking news that Randy was diagnosed with Advanced Rectal Stage 3C cancer. He will be starting extremely strong chemo this week in hopes of shrinking the large tumor so that surgery is possible. During this time, his oncologist does not want Randy working. Anyone who knows Randy knows just how stubborn he is. He has in his mind that he will be able to work some so that the financial bind will be less since he is the sole provider for him and his wife (our mother, Paula) rather than focusing on getting better.

We will not allow that to happen. His family needs him here more than work. That's where this GoFundMe comes in. We are looking to raise money to give Randy the peace to be able to receive treatment without the stress of working or the stress of losing what he has worked all of his life for. We want him to solely focus on treatment and getting better so that he is able to get back to being the playful Papaw his granddaughters run to.

We are also asking for prayers. Prayers that his doctors are successful with treatment. Prayers for Randy to stay strong and fight. And prayers for our family.
