Support Randy's Double Lung Transplant

Two and a half years ago, Randy Callahan was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. This is a scarring and hardening of the lungs. He uses an oxygen machine much of the time now to help get more oxygen through his body. There is no cure for this disease. Randy will need to have a double lung transplant very soon.

We are looking for help covering what the medical insurance will not cover, the lengthy recovery and rehabilitation times needed. After surgery, there will be up to a three-month required stay at an apartment across the street from the U of M. Insurance will not pay for the apartment.
