Support Randy and Joyce’s Recovery After Storm Damage
Donation protected
We are reaching out on behalf of Randy and Joyce Taggart, a dedicated school bus driver and and his wife, valued members of our community, who recently faced a devastating hardship. Early Saturday morning, Randy was trapped in his home from a large tree, as a powerful storm hit.
Thankfully, he was able to call 911 and escape safely, but their home suffered severe damage, leaving it unlivable.
To make matters worse, just before the storm, their homeowner’s insurance was unexpectedly canceled through no fault of their own. Now, Randy and his wife have been seeking assistance from organizations such as the township trustee and the American Red Cross, but unfortunately, they have not been able to provide financial help. They are currently staying with a family member in Southport and making a long commute to work every day, adding to their financial strain.
Randy is not one to ask for help, but he is now in desperate need. We are asking our community to come together and support him in any way possible. Any donation, big or small, will go toward essential expenses like gas for his daily commute, bills, and, most importantly, repairing their home so they can move back in.
If you are able to contribute, please consider donating to help Randy and Joyce get back on their feet. Your kindness and generosity will make a world of difference for him and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for any support you can provide.
