Support for Randy and Christine Taylor’s Children After Randy’s Battle with Cancer
Dear Friends, Family, Mountain View Church Community, and All Who Wish to Help:
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Randy David Christian Taylor (August 1, 1973 – February 20, 2025), a beloved father, friend, and Mountain View Church stakeholder who fought bravely against metastatic kidney cancer. His love, humor, and unwavering dedication to his children—Ethan, Melody, and Gabriel—will never be forgotten.
Randy faced his illness with the same determination he brought to every challenge in life: he fought with everything he had. Though Randy and Christine were no longer married, they shared a lifetime of love and memories—thirty-three years as friends, partners, and parents. While they endured difficult times, they found their way back to forgiveness and reconciliation before his passing. Alongside Randy’s immediate family, Christine had the honor of caring for Randy and being by his side as he entered into peace.
With Randy’s passing, Christine must raise their three children alone, facing the emotional and financial hardships of this immense loss. Since her long-term independent contractor role tapered off, she has been actively interviewing for a full-time position. Christine is determined to provide for her children despite these difficult circumstances. However, the immediate financial strain remains overwhelming as she transitions into being the sole provider for her children.
How You Can Help
We ask for your help honoring Randy’s memory by ensuring he and Christine’s children have the stability and security they need. Every dollar raised will go toward:
Basic living expenses – Rent, utilities, groceries, and clothing to maintain a stable home
Education & childcare – School supplies, lessons, and extracurricular activities to support their futures
Emotional & mental health support – Therapy and counseling for the children as they process their grief
Future savings for the children – To provide for their long-term needs and aspirations
Randy’s legacy lives on in his children. His greatest wish was that they would grow up knowing God, surrounded by love, security, and a chance to chase their dreams.
No donation is too small—every bit helps, whether it's $5 or simply sharing this fundraiser with others. Let’s surround the Taylor family with love and support during their time of need, showing them they are not alone.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and love during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Mountain View Church Family
