Support Randy McCoy's Fight for Life

Hello all, my name is Heather McCoy, the daughter of Randy McCoy. His wife and he would probably blow their top if they knew I made this because they are not the ones to ask for help. But it saddens me to say that they do.

My daddy had been sick with pneumonia and RSV. He battles asthma and lung issues daily, making the sickness more extreme. It took a toll on him on Jan 2nd and sent him into the ER. The ER discovered he has a nasty infection putting much distress on his heart, resulting in congestive heart failure. He coded 3 times that night which has surfaced even more scares. He is now in a coma and we’re praying for brain activity. We’re praying for a miracle. His kidneys took a hit along the way, and he is now on dialysis. He is hooked to a mechanical kidney and a very rare machine called the ECMO. ECMO works his heart mechanically and allows his body to rest. We’re hoping for the best but expecting the worst with all that’s on his plate.

I’m asking for his wife, who has not and will not leave his side, for any donations to help keep her where I cannot be as I have a newborn baby. The hospital does not feed spouses, and I know it’s gotta be costly as the journey is a long one. He is in ICU and not out of the woods. The expenses of medical bills, I’m sure, are going to be unimaginable. Again, she, as well as I, have asked for prayers, but this family may need more than that. Anything helps, even $5.
