Randy passed away at 8:45am on May 6. 

Many have been asking for ways to contribute, so we have updated this gofundme as a place to donate to his final resting expenses. Please contribute any amount. Delo will be able to access these funds directly to assist in any final expenses.

Thank you to all of you who contributed here are otherwise. You have no idea what a difference this has made for Randy in his final months with us. 



Here's our previous message for some context:

Randy has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic and Liver Cancer. Delo and Randy have chosen to use an aggressive treatment. Randy's first cocktail of chemo was the last week of August 2021. He's not a candidate for radiation because it's too widespread and in a few lymph nodes. His oncologist says "Go out and Enjoy Life Now!"

Many are supporting Randy and Delo with their love, researching alternative treatments, or offering personal assistance such as yard cleaning or housework. And, many have been asking what more they can do!

We are here to support Randy financially including offsetting medical expenses and contributing so that he can go full out on life! Any donation here goes directly to Randy. We are starting with a modest goal, but we know Randy will need lots of financial support. And, those that know Randy know he is not someone who asks for help. It's an expression of his courage to allow us to contribute to him, and it's an expression of love and community for us to come together for him.

If you are reading this and have gotten this far, consider you are a part of Randy's community. And while you may have all kinds of considerations, like "there are so many things to contribute to," or "it shouldn't be this way, why are Medical expenses so high in this country," I invite you to put your considerations aside and take action. Donate any amount that inspires you!

We don't want to talk about survival rates, we want to talk about survival, about Randy beating this. Randy was in good health and took care of his body, and the cancer doesn't care. Randy is at Stage 4 (which means it's spread to other parts of his body) Adenocarcinoma Pancreatic and Liver Cancer. The money you contribute isn't about somehow reaching a magic number that will be enough to wipe out the cancer, it's about providing this beautiful man an opportunity for dignity and to express his love for life.
